Very Good

Breakfast has a lot of choices. Bus stop is easy to find and quite near the hotel. The bedroom is very roomy.

The receptionist English is too limited, and the lack of WiFi in the room as we usually have in a hotel.

Pleasant

Reception is helpful. Staffs serves you with passion. Location is good, you can walk to several local food restaurant. There are also many convinient stores nearby. Despite it is a old hotel, hot water is excellant.

Building is really old, toilet is not clean. Smell of room is not really good.

The location was very good and the staff was very nice. Some staff speaks English. They were helpful also they had free parking. If any problem or question you could use line to text it makes communication much easier. The room was very spacious.

The room smelled like cold cigarettes, it was very noisy. Every day the breakfast was cold and not very tatsy. The room was very old for the price paid. elevator very small. It's free parking but not always enough space for everyone.

Cheap hotel in ok location

Good location, not too far from Anping fort and old area. Staff very helpful. Has parking. Buffet breakfast was ok, but staff saw what we wanted and provided it at no extra cost.

The hotel is an old building and decor is well past its best. Has a run down feel to it. Damp on ceiling in reception area doesn't fill you with confidence. Smell of stale cigarettes outside room.

Statbucks coffee and skippy peanut butter!! Breakfast was good as reviews say ,above the rooms condition by a far distance. I think just stop and remodel. Japanese porn on tv was a highlight. View was nice but windows were so old and scratched hard to see outside .

Ghost feel, smell of age, old , old ,old, bed was not comfortable . Tolilet was broken running water all night

Chinese buffet breakfast. Not the most central location, but not a long walk away from city center attractions. Room was ok.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. One member of staff even dropped us to the high speed train station when we checked out as a kind gesture for no extra charge. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We also used the free bicycles to travel to and from the night market. I highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Tainan.

The stay was good, the staff was nice and warm, they even offered us some of the fruits! The hotel is kinda old but it's alright, comfortable and valueable. Will visit again.

Nice stay in Tainan

All staffs are very nice. They are helping to resolve my issues.

The air condition couldn't be re-established to my comfortable temp even though the staff tried to help, but they gave me alternative to meet my request.

It was a good experience.

The staff are friendly ,they went extra mile to make us happy, very helpful,location of the hotel is great. The breakfasts were good and tasty. Our room is large with large bath room but hand shower need to be upgrade it.

It needed upgrade the shower and need new window coverings. They should have no smokeing room.

Big bath. A huge room. Twenty years ago, it was a luxurious room, it's more retro today. Nice view from breakfast area.

It was easy to arrive from the train station with Bus No.

It was easy to arrive from the train station with Bus No. 14., it took around 20 minutes. The building is a bit old, the furniture and the bathroom as well, but our room was spatious, and very clean and the cleaning lady checked the cleanliness and changed the towels every day during our 5-day stay. She also filled up the bar with two bottles of water and instant coffe/tea every day. There was water boiler in the room, and outside the room there was a watertank, so we always had drinking water. There is a washing machine and dryer on the 15th floor, that we could use for free. We could use the hotel's bikes gratis, so it was really easy to get to the Anping District (3 km from the hotel). There are many places to eat near the hotel. (But sometimes we couldn't eat till the afternoon as the asian style breakfast was sooo abundant and delicious in the hotel.) And the best part of the hotel is the staff who was super kind and helpful. We would choose this quiet hotel again.

Not worth the price.

Bed is comfortable. Big windows.

Smell old. Design is awful. Not clean (abandoned socks in the drawer for example). Staff is not really nice. AC is too loud. Not bottle of water in the room. Dishes are dirty so can't use the water outside the room.

Our room was spacious I would say almost too big for two people. The western style breakfast was very tasty and it was served on the highest floor of the hotel with a great view. We could use hotel bikes to explore the city of Tainan and we appreciated washing machine too. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Old and worn out

The bed was a little hard but ok if you're used to Asian beds. The breakfast had a lot of things to choose from, but mostly Chinese style dishes.

The hotel is very old and worn. The room was not very well cleaned. Most things in both the room and bathroom looked tarnished.

Far From the Train Station, Great Value For Your Money

The size of the rooms, we had two rooms we stayed in because the first one had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. The staff was willing to give us a new room after we showed them my boyfriend's inhaler. The All-You-Can-Eat breakfast was traditional Chinese food with plenty of variety, including vegetarian dishes, and it was all delicious.

There was a lot of construction around the hotel so that isn't always pleasant to see and hear. Additionally, somehow the address to this hotel was confusing to my MAPS app so double check the address on your location devices and apps, we ended up getting lost the first time we tried to find it. It is far away from the train station so be mindful of that. The good thing? The taxi drive is only $100 Taiwanese dollars.
